2 AP: Melee Attack

Make an Attack with your weapon on an opponent within range (usually 1 sq, diagonal is also allowed). Roll the specified die for the weapon and add your STR to it (For weapons with the Finesse attribute, you can use DEX instead). If your STR is negative, you must subtract it, but the Attack can never deal less than 1 damage (unless your enemy reduces the damage).

Certain conditions can modify the damage:

  • Non-lethal attacks
To execute a non-lethal attack, it must be declared beforehand. The attack roll only deals half damage.
  • Flanking
If an ally of yours is on the opposite side of the opponent, you deal 1.5x damage to the enemy, even if the ally is not engaged in combat.
  • Prone
If your opponent is on the ground, deal 1.5x damage.
  • Cover
  • Critical Hits
Rolling the highest number on the damage dice allows you to roll the die once again and add the result as damage.
  • Vision
If you can't see the enemy you have to target a square instead of a creature. If there is a creature on the square, it only takes half the damage of your Attack.
