Weaponmaster
A master of armed combat who wields a weapon with the same ease as others wear clothes. The Weaponmaster is proficient with all weapons and can choose the appropriate weapon depending on the situation.
Proficient with Weapons
The Weaponmaster is proficient in using any type of weapon, including exotic ones such as pistols or nunchucks, which means that they ignore the attribute requirement for them.
Free Weapon Switch
Once per turn he Weaponmaster can switch their weapons or pick up weapons and items from the ground without spending AP.
Weapon Knowledge
For each type of weapon, the Weaponmaster can perform additional actions. If a weapon belongs to one of the categories below, the action can be performed with that weapon.
Daggers
1 AP Aim Between Armor
The next attack with the dagger ignores DP and reduces LP instead.
Swords, Axes
1 AP Flesh Wound
The next attack deals extra damage if the target has no DP, similar to a critical hit (extra dice).
Blunt Weapons
1 AP Armor Breaker
If the target of the next attack is wearing armor, the attack deals 1.5 times the damage. Damage to HP cannot be added. It expires.
Polearms
1 AP Pierce
Spend 1 AP to pierce through the opponent with the next attack and also hit the one behind for half damage. 2 sq range.
Bows
1 AP Aim
The next attack deals extra damage, similar to a critical hit (extra dice).
Crossbows
1 AP Powerful Shot
The next attack pushes the opponent back by 1F.
Special Weapons
There are special weapons that also have additional abilities. If a weapon has a text for "Weapon Knowledge", you can use that skill for 1 AP while wielding the weapon.
Level 2: Parry
When you are hit by an Attack, you can reduce its damage by 1d12. If you can nullify the damage with this, you can hurl it back at the attacker. They then receive damage equal to what you would have received. You can use this ability LvlB times per Short Rest, and you are allowed to use it multiple times in the same turn. Every two levels, at levels 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, you can roll an extra die and thereby reduce damage by 10d12 at Level 20.
Example: A kobold attacks warrior Gohan with a slingshot. It deals 7 damage. Gohan, benefiting from a buff by the priest, takes 2 less damage, reducing it to 5. He decides to further reduce the damage and uses Riposte. He rolls 1d12 and gets a 6. With that, he parries the stone, takes no damage, and hurls it back at the kobold. The kobold takes 5 damage.
Level 2: 1min Examine Weapons
Take 1 minute to discern the origin of weapons, mainly what region and maybe even smithery the weapon was produced in. You can also deduce the race, social stand and general information about the wielder based on the weapon or based on traces such as wounds.
Level 5: Subclass
Choose a Subclass. Subclasses are specializations for your class that give you extra skills at the levels 5, 10, 15, 20. For the Weaponmaster you can choose between the following:
TODO weaponmaster_collector, weaponmaster_specialist
Level 7: Second Fighting Style
Choose a second Fighting Style.
