Social Skills are a mixture of empathy, charisma and eloquence. Characters with Social Skills of 0 have no problems talking to others and win arguments, though sometimes it is hard to distinguish what people say and what they actually mean. While a character with Social Skills of 5 could persuade bandits to become honourable knights and read peoples inner desires, a character with -2 has problems reading social cues and stumbles over their own words.
