How it works
Ask around. There is always someone interested. Maybe try a group with your besties, maybe ask the oddball of your group. Or ask around online, they won't bite.
The person leading the game is called Game Master (GM). They describe the world and put you in interesting situations that the players need to resolve through their characters. If you don't know who to pick as a GM, roll for it and then switch around for the next game. Or pick the person that always wanted to feel like a god ^^
Use the character creator to create your own character, there are many fantasy races and classes available. If you don't have much time or want to get inspired, pick one of the premade characters here.
You can have a look at the available adventures here. Or you can create your own. Ever wanted to bring your own story to life?
The Game Master will explain situations to you (like an angry-looking tiger approaching you) and you can use your characters abilities to interact with the situation (pet the tiger). Make a dice roll, the higher the better, to see if you succeed. The Game Master decides what happens based on your roll (does the tiger shove your hand away or lay on its belly?).
